The location plays a fundamental role for your wedding in Italy, the choice you make will affect the style and budget of the event. Furthermore, this final choice will greatly influence those relating to all the other suppliers
- A PLACE THAT REPRESENTS YOU PERSONALLY
The ideal location should best reflect your tastes and personality. If you have a budget, it is important to make a careful selection and take it into consideration, but don't give up setting your wedding in a place that makes your heart beat.
- ADEQUATE SPACE FOR EVERY MOMENT
Check that there is enough space to carry out your wedding, which is usually structured as follows: ceremony, aperitif, lunch / dinner, party. Each moment requires a dedicated area and a surprise effect is always exciting to play on, so that guests never know what will happen next. If the ceremony takes place in a church, avoid travelling more than half an hour by car.
- A PLAN “B” AS GOOD AS PLAN A
When selecting your location, you should find a structure that can provide a backup option in case of bad weather, that is suitable for your number of guests, but not only that. My suggestion is to ensure that plan “B” is as good as plan “A”, so that it is never a fallback and that you as a couple can be equally satisfied with choices.
When indecision takes over, my advice is to draw up a ranking of the essential elements. Each couple has its highest priority items depending on the type of guests taking part in the wedding: a breathtaking view, the absence of time limits, a swimming pool, nature ...
- SOME VENUES ARE NOT SUITABLE TO HOST A WEDDING
Not all locations are suitable to host a wedding. Sometimes space available is inadequate, or no suitable structures to accommodate suppliers may be present and this can create difficulties which in the end generate additional expense
I always suggest that you read contracts carefully and agree in advance on points of interest. Are fireworks allowed? Is an aperitif by the pool allowed? Are there any limits to outdoor music?
Couples are sometimes frightened by higher prices, but it may be useful understanding what is included: lighting, furniture, furnishings ... Sometimes an apparently greater expense can bring savings!
Right from the first decisions, and that of the location is usually really the first one, my suggestion is to have no interference. You are about to create a new family and the organization of the wedding is a first test ... take a decision that makes you happy as a couple.
