This love story smells like the sea. The gentle sound of the waves, the golden light of summer, and the unmistakable charm of Forte dei Marmi were the perfect backdrop for Silvia and Orrin’s wedding — a celebration of love, family, and memories that belong to this stretch of Tuscan coast.
From the very beginning, Silvia and Orrin knew that Forte dei Marmi was where they wanted to say “I do.” This land holds a special place in their hearts — a place of family summers, of stories passed down, of emotions that return with every sea breeze.
That morning, the two of them got ready in the serene rooms of the Augustus Hotel, surrounded by their closest loved ones. There was a soft hum of excitement in the air — laughter, a few tears, and that quiet magic that only a wedding morning can bring.
Before the ceremony, guests were welcomed with a refreshing cocktail in the gardens of the beach club, where glasses clinked under the shade of the pine trees. Then, as the sun began to dip lower, everyone made their way toward the beach. The ceremony setting was pure poetry — the shoreline framed by a delicate floral design that echoed the hues of sunset: blush pink, sky blue, and warm peach. The sea stretched endlessly in front of them, calm and radiant. Silvia and Orrin walked down the aisle with their parents, and Silvia’s sister, Martina, officiated the ceremony with a voice full of emotion. To honor Orrin’s Jewish heritage, some traditional rituals were woven into the celebration, including the meaningful breaking of the glass, a gesture symbolizing joy and unity. They exchanged words of LOVE on pieces of Carrara marble, a tribute to the art and spirit of Tuscany. When the ceremony ended, they walked together along the shoreline, the sky painted in shades of coral and gold. Silvia’s veil floated in the sea breeze, revealing an embroidered detail that read “Heart to Heart.” It was as if the words themselves whispered the essence of their love.
As the evening unfolded, guests gathered for an elegant aperitif and enjoyed a touch of whimsy with live caricature portraits, capturing smiles and laughter that filled the air.
Dinner was set under a canopy of stars. The long tables were adorned with flowers and soft lights, every detail recalling the colors of the sunset. Each table was marked by a marine symbol, and every guest found a small chalk favor waiting for them — a delicate token of appreciation. Later, on the sand, the couple cut their wedding cake surrounded by a carpet of flowers and candles, with a glowing moon rising behind them. It was one of those moments that seemed to pause time — the sound of the sea, the light of the candles, and the reflection of pure happiness on their faces.
And then, the night truly began. The music of the Britpops filled the air, and everyone danced barefoot under the stars.
For me, this wedding will always hold a special place in my heart. Creating Silvia and Orrin’s seaside dream was an emotional journey — one filled with beauty, meaning, and the deep serenity that only the sea can give.
